Enhanced Security Services

ADCom Enhanced Security Services (AESS) are based on an effective methodology for collecting repeatable, consistent IT risk metrics into a central service-oriented architecture portal. Powered by The Gideon Group's SecureFusion software, the result is an executive dashboard of IT risk metrics that includes prioritization and workflow as well as dynamic, comprehensive reporting.

The AESS infrastructure is built on the additive intelligence of four core modules:

  1. Asset Discovery - performs continuous audits of managed and unmanaged assets with no impact to the network. In most cases, AESS Asset Discovery finds 20-40 percent more networks and assets than were previously known or expected during initial deployments. It also performs 300 times faster than the nearest competitor, scanning up to 50,000 assets in a day with a single scanner and enabling you to run continuous scans for the most accurate, up-to-the-minute view of your IT assets.
  2. Vulnerability Management - conducts ongoing, real-time vulnerability detection and reporting for operating systems, infrastructure, network applications and databases-enabling you to establish a repeatable, automated scanning program across your entire enterprise. The most current results are always reflected in the AESS portal which means you no longer have to wait until the next vulnerability assessment or audit to measure and evaluate your risks. The portal also stores historical results for effective comparisons and benchmarking.
  3. Configuration Management - continuously compares system configuration and compliance with IT security standards; provides deep insight into critical enterprise security issues such as installed software, user access, system patches and end-user controlled security settings. You can use this information to ensure that IT assets are configured and used in accordance with corporate standards.
  4. Policy Management - initiates, reviews, publishes and maintains security policies. The AESS Portal is an ideal repository and communication point for your enterprise security policies.
